About me

Olivia Spande

Foodstyling Assistant & Nutritionist

Olivia is a curious cook, eager to try it all. Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, she was raised in a home where food and creativity were always encouraged. From guitar and pottery to painting, art became her outlet—but the kitchen, where she often helped her mother, was where her curiosity truly came alive.

This love for food naturally led to a deeper interest in nutrition. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition with a minor in Agribusiness Food Innovation, Olivia moved to Vancouver, BC, to fulfill her dream of attending culinary school. There, she studied techniques from cuisines around the world.

She now treats this blog as a public notebook—tracking what she learns, tastes, and tries along the way.
